For August’s FREE download, I’ve decided to make a big one: 6 12×12 digital patters plus tutorials by lovely Christy. It’s a slightly nautical download, and my last ode to summer. Because, you know, Fall is inching closer. EEP!

Project: Printed Envelopes

Little Gnome Mix n’ Match Envelope and Card

Materials:

A4 board paper in white
wooden envelope template
bone folder
glue/double sided tape
scissors
paper cutter
colored printer
cutting mat

Directions:

1. Select your digital patterns from the kit. Print your desired pattern on an A4 board paper. Print another pattern on the other side of the same board paper. For this project you wouldn’t need to use envelope liners since the patterns are printed back-to back. Print as many patterns as you wish.

2. Position wooden envelope template onto the paper and trace the pattern. Cut out using scissors.

3. Using bone folder neatly fold edges of envelope and apply glue or double sided tape along the flaps.

4.Print another set of patterns on board paper. Print on only one side of the paper. These will serve as the tent cards/notecards for the envelopes.

5. Enjoy your fun mix n’ match or cutely mismatched envelopes and cards!

Parasol Co. Paper + Textile

I’m super pleased to announce the opening of Parasol Co. Paper + Textiles. This is a project I’ve been working on for quite a while, and I’m so excited that I am now able to make my designs available on fabric and paper.

Our initial release includes 2 mini sets: Mushroom Patch and Little Matryoshka.

Mushroom Patch is inspired by bright red-cap mushrooms and woods, and Little Matryoshka is inspired by colorful Russian dolls and folk art. Both have coordinating dots made different by drawing them with an ikat-like style.
